A cofferdam is a temporary water retaining device. It is made up of one or more tubes. Special connection technology is adopted between the tubes to ensure that the connection between the tubes will not leak. A single tube is designed with tensile reinforcement, and the chamber is separated. The tube is filled with water to form two Chambers. When the cofferdam is in the case of retaining water flow velocity and flow rate, the upstream chamber water is not easy to flow to the downstream chamber due to the chamber separation, so the structure tube is not easy to roll, which has the effect of preventing drifting and rolling.

When a cofferdam is filled with water, it forms a barrier. Can be used for temporary installation, construction and other engineering sites. Cofferdams can be used repeatedly according to the length of water barrier at different sites. The site with a small length of water barrier can be used with a single tube, and the site with a large length can be used with multiple tubes.

 Cofferdam adopts a single tube combination, easy to lift, install and dismantle, the installation and dismantle time is usually about 1 day. When the cofferdam is used, only each tube needs to be filled with water to reach the designed height of filling water, and the fixed function can be achieved by relying on the self-weight of water, without other anchoring devices, which is more cost saving. And the tube water can only be filled with enough power pumps, without other equipment, so the whole use of cofferdam process is more environmentally friendly, convenient.

 The shape is flexible, can be straight, curved, rectangular or irregular shape, to meet the requirements of different sites. The head and tail of the cofferdam in the length direction can be built on the bank slope of the river, so that the position of the foot of the slope will not leak much water.

Structural features:
